by Jondoe<OR>, 41 days agoIt has been a crazy year for our organization. Lots of ups and downs. Lots of new faces. Lots of changes. Some were for the best. Some were for the worst. In all cases though, it has transformed <Overrated> into a more mature and better guild. Many of the "old school" players may reminisce about the old days, when Lady Vashj, and Kael'thas was still the End bosses, where content was difficult not due to a flip of a switch, but just how it was initially designed the first time, or how much better we were before than they are now. Well, I don't think that is the case.
This game is getting old, and its age is showing. Keeping people's interest and motivation back then was easy, because content made it that way. What we got here now is a dedication beyond just content, loot, or reputation. It's a bond that many of use has developed over the pass couple, three, four (or more!) years. We enjoy getting together and conquering what WoW throws at us. Even though it is easy (yet frustrating at times...Anub'rak comes into mind), we don't do it purely and solely for the loot, but we enjoy each others company. Everyone of us are unique and bring a flavor and quality to the guild, which ultimately makes our guild great.
Thanks for making this game fun. It may drag from time to time, but there are more highs than there are lows. I can't see 15$ better spent ANYWHERE else than here. And here's to another year under our belt, and lets continue on with that trend. Either it be in WoW, or another game, or another thing altogether, I foresee <Overrated> as the conduit for all of it.
