General Rules for kiting.

1) Be prepared to move as soon as you're targeted.
2) Avoid the tanking Ice at all times. If you have to go around it wait for the spikes to clear the Ice Area, so that any route you take prevents the spikes from intersecting it.
3) Drag it out as long as possible, sprint if you have it. You will get BoP so work your way close to it but don't move into it, until not doing so would result in your demise. If you have BoP chill till the debuff has 2-3 seconds remaining then jet through ice.
4)Learn what the BoP icon looks like. If you have Satrina Buff Frames make a buff frame for it so you can see it easily. Recognize you have the buff and act accordingly to utilize your 10 seconds properly. Roughly 8 seconds should be you eating spikes.
5) If you're the third person that phase 2, Run fast and far towards the door or the back of the room dependent on where you started, goal here is to survive until he emerges.
6) Do not use any aggro reduction abilities. No Pally bubbling, no fade, no FD etc.

7) (Temporary Rule of Thumb) Do not use any shape-shifting style. abilities. These currently break threat on submerged Anub'arak
